Hello! I’m Sunny, a Boston-based designer with 8 years of experience in product and over 6 years of experience in UX design. I’m currently working as a Senior UX Designer at Indeed, helping people find jobs.

I began my career as a therapist, providing care for a variety of clients ranging from kids in a psychiatric unit to disadvantaged adults seeking vocational rehabilitation. As a researcher at Northwestern University, I studied the psychology of storytelling and salient themes in adult life narratives.

I made the leap into tech in 2017, and I was able to combine my passion for people, visual design, and storytelling as a UX Designer. I’m excited by complex problems - digging into the problem space, listening to users to uncover the root issues, and distilling a design solution into its simplest form. My ultimate goal is to design products that make users feel understood and seen.
